Listening is the language of love

Engaging in the pursuit of Justice and Peace in our activities begins with listening and noticing. Below are a few simple questions you can use with your neighbors. These questions could equally be altered and used with co-workers to discern what the felt experience within your workplace is.

1. How long have you lived here?
2. What are three things that you love about this neighborhood?
3. If you could change one thing about this neighborhood, what would it be?

Once you are aware of the needs within your neighborhood, or workplace you can then begin to pray for and advocate for restorative change.
